You are asked by Metropolitan Police Department personnel at the corner of Connecticut and K (outside Farragut North Metro) to help keep pedestrians across K street (on the Farragut Park side) in order to establish an Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Command Post on the northside of K street.

Passengers are continuing to enter and exit the Farragut North station at K street. You have heard that the other two entrances have been blocked off. This has substantially increased pedestrian traffic on the corner adjacent to where they are trying to establish the EOD Command Post.

Pedestrians are also beginning to fill the north end of Farragut Park and adjacent sidewalks, attracted by the police activity.
